Statement Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
March 18, 2020
We wanted to take this opportunity to announce that due to the most recent restrictions put in place by Governor Murphy, our projected opening day of April 4, 2020 is postponed indefinitely. Our annual employee orientation that was scheduled for March 21, 2020, has been postponed as well. At this time, these are no plans to hold our annual Easter Egg Hunt that was scheduled for April 11 and 12. It saddens us to delay our opening, especially when we know so many children and families have been eagerly anticipating it.
The most recent mandate regarding closures reads: "All places of public amusement, whether indoors or outdoors, including but not limited to, locations with amusement rides, carnivals, amusement parks, water parks, aquariums, zoos, arcades, fairs, children's play centers, funplexes, theme parks, bowling alleys, family and children's attractions."
As always, any tickets that have been purchased do not expire and can be used any time, even next year. If you have already purchased a 2020 Season Pass, we would like you to know we are working on a solution for passholders who will be missing out on our Easter activities and missed days. Our preseason Early Ticket Sale, which was scheduled to end on March, 31 2020, will be extended to a still-undecided later day, so our guests may still have a chance to purchase tickets at a reduced rate.
This is a challenging time for all - for parents, educators, business owners, and children. We are encouraging families to use this time to enjoy each other, take one day at a time, and READ with your children. We may not be able to bring stories to your children at the moment, but in our absence, you can.
To our fellow area attractions and businesses that have closed, we want you to know that we are hoping that you all presevere through your closures. Guests and friends, if you are able, try to support your local businesses that are still open, as they are an incredibly important part of our communities!
We believe that together, we can all get through this time and emerge more patient, more kind, and more selfless. Stay healthy and stay well!
